Today marks the day that RonBo’s writer’s block has been lifted! Even though it’s been about ten months since his last post, RonBo has never left you. RonBo is sure everyone is checking in on a daily basis, just waiting for the moment where he finally drops a gem on them. Now my friends, the time has come. It has been brought to my attention that RonBo currently hit is personal all time heaviest weight and is tipping the scales at 200.8 pounds! Whether he likes it or not, he is at a stage right now where he can either venture into the unknown and go into parts not yet explored, or get back to his lean and mean fighting self that once won a Superbout under the alias of “Golden Boy”. Twisting and turning, the road has come to a fork…

RonBo has set a personal goal for himself to way in at 165 pounts on March 22, 2009. That’s a total weight loss of 36 pounds at a rate of 2 pounds per week.
Sure, you know how adorable Pleo is when you’re being all cute and cuddly with him. But what’s going to happen when someone’s Ritalin-addicted nephew is left alone with the hapless dinosaur for even a few minutes? While waiting to conduct our full, hands-on review, we decided to answer that question with a series of unauthorized — and let’s be honest — somewhat cruel tests. Be forewarned, in the video you’ll see Pleo:

* Get smacked
* Get held by the tail
* Get held by the tail and shaken
* Get held by the tail and dropped
* Get held by the neck (warning: gross choking noises ensue)
* Get stuffed into a bag
* Eventually die
We don’t recommend doing this. In fact, we killed our Pleo by the end of it. Don’t worry though. Eventually we got him up and running again, and after a few chin scratches and some petting he was his cute cheerful self again, so all seems forgiven. But just in case it isn’t, we now keep him locked in a drawer at night….
PS: Yes, we know we’re going to Pleo hell for this.
Windows are great, you can see things out of them, they shed light and they bring the cool breeze to you. Makoto Hirhara’s Bright Blind tries to bring some of these comforts to barren, windowless walls. The Bright Blind hangs on your wall and is constructed from electroluminescent sheets. The light dispersed gives the impression sunlight is creeping in, much like a real blind covered window would do.
Only thing is; there is no real sunlight behind the Bright Blind. It’s all a lie. One cleverly constructed illusion, even Eisenheim would be proud of its intricate illusionary detailing. If your residence is the local penitentiary, then we could understand the Bright Blind’s utility, but if not, just up and get some air, man. Added bonus, you get some vitamin D out of the real deal, no amount of electroluminescent sheets will give you that. At present, the Bright Blind is a concept, so if you are interested in purchasing, you have a wait on your hands.
